The reason why knuckles didnt take off is because while the memes were kinda great, the actual group of people in VRC turned into a bunch of braindead idiots that dragged it on far too long until they drove away all the intelligent people and literally annoyed the fuck out of everyone until they basically either all got blocked, banned, or otherwise removed.
