Oh god. I remember. This game was so boring. So boring af.
I played all the games from project rainfall. Xenoblade obviously had promise. A good but kinda mmorpg singleplayer experience. Then there was pandoras tower which was actually great and used the motion controls in a very non sucking way. The "dating sim" elements also felt appropriate and not tacked on.
Then there was thing.
Awesome music, awesome setting. Kinda good atmosphere with minimalistic ui.
But everything else just felt. So. Lacking.
No gameplay, I even had to switch to manual, so that attack were wow style auto attack.
The main tank mechanic and important status effects like slow showed potential. But that's it. Apart from that you have teammate npcs, who you can control for one move. Or you can do a swishy swirly thingy. And that's it basically. For the entire fucking game.
Christ, the main antagonist was a fucking rock.
I remember the theme music and not much else. The best thing about it was the concept art. Squeenix were really trying to go for something this time, but just felt flat on their freaking faces.
And I know they can do it, just look at Twewy.
