/int/craft - a 4chan minecraft server populated by the autists over on /int/ and various other boards at this point. We've got some nice custom plugins that add some nice period weapons to the game, along with some new mechanics for towny, and a brewing plugin. Right now the mod team are developing ships to be used on trade and shore bombardment.
You can join any nation that existed in Europe or North Africa at the time of 1700, the map is a crop of the North Atlantic, America will be opened up shortly after launch. Its not a small map and most nations are happy to accept more people as launch approaches. The new world particularly needs more people to settle there, is a vast area with lots of good resources, like corn and gold.
