Just found out this (Ex-Zodiac) exists, and I'm mad no one told me, so let's get a thread going.

I shill this one everytime one of these threads pops up. This game has a STEEP learning curve. You have to manage a squad through first person, although you can issue commands from whatever troop you're controlling by holding down the hotkey for one of your other troops and pressing left or right which changes what the order is contextual to what you're looking at. It really encourages stealth and being tactical. Most levels have a way to respawn enemies (reinforcement trucks, police stations, alarms that bring in police, etc) which you can usually disable but until then you want to avoid fights. Even without respawns considered fighting a bunch of enemies in while having to micro a bunch of units really fucks with your brain.
When you get the hang of it though it's amazing. Every mission brings something new to the table and some shake up the game entirely. You can also hand pick your squad for more tactics. There is some minor bullshit like the parade level where enemy snipers can shoot through curtains that you can't shoot through, forcing you to enter the building and take them out from behind. For the most part it is great. Great atmosphere, humor, gameplay, etc.
For the most part the story is like if the TF2 characters were in a 1984 situation.

Welp if you are looking for a good indie game, check out underrail. Basically fallout underground with a lot more dying. Also it has custom portraits.
So I made one of the Emperor of mankind.

When I saw the sprites and heard the music I legitimately thought this was a Castlevania Gameboy Advanced/DS game I never heard of. The devs really fucking nailed it.

<Promising
>Ghost Runner
First person, parkour/arena combat game. You dodge boolets, you reflect attacks with a katana and dodge/parkour your way around enemies. Reminds me a bit of both Katana Zero and Ronin.
>Record of Lodoss War
Another Team Ladybug(Pharaoh Rebirth, SMT Synchronicity, that Konosuba mega man game) metroidvania with a Lodoss setting.
Not Indie, but
>Serious Sam 4
Release date is August, niggers.

I think Cyber Shadow looks better by virtue of faster movement, but yeah they both look very interesting.

20 in every base stat and 160 and every skill and all feats. Because he is JEB. But if you are being serious it would be a 18 WILL full PSI build because at that point you are as powerful as JEB.

That's why I like it. Nintendo refuses to make a straight Starfox game, and the on-rails shooter is a near dead genre, so I'm glad someone's doing it.

It's more shump than mech action. If that's fine with you then go for it.
