The developer of this "Rekt Galaxies" mod is Bryan See. He's a rather infamous figure on the Hard Light Productions forums, the main Freespace 2 community. This isn't the first time he's done something like this. He enjoys announcing preposterously ambitious and entirely nonsensical mods he's supposedly developing, promising to combine three or four different established universes that have nothing to do with each other across a campaign spanning hundreds of missions and including hundreds of new ships. So far, none of his projects have ever gone anywhere.

I don't know. Maybe the OP is Bryan himself, trying to get some publicity for his new project. Or maybe it's someone who finds Bryan interesting and sincerely wants to see him make his mod, so he wants to give him some exposure.
