It's been officially confirmed that Platinum staff is overseeing the Replicant Remake's gameplay so it would be more in line with Automata's

Hopefully it maintains at least some of the clunkiness. It makes sense for twink Nier to be as athletic and capable as a 300+lb gynoid designed specifically for combat
Also hope they don't reuse the Devola/Popola models from Automata, they looked a lot better in the original
At least it'll include Ending E, right?

My only hopes are that they expand on the music to make it less repetitive and that they rethink the ending requirements. I don't mind having to collect every weapon—there should be at least *some* challenge in getting every ending unlike in Automata—but replaying half the game so many times killed my interest and by the time I got the final ending I was just doing it out of obligation.

Then you better hope they change the original requirements for Ending E, since they were Get ending D, replay through the entire game with a new name, get to ending D again, and enter your first character's name

It is true that the second run could've been more different, but i really have no problem with it.
