I don't even know which imageboard to go to so i've just been not going to any but the leaks around tlou 2 have been fun. Had a job interview this morning that I probably won't get but oh well. Just been blasting through smaller games. Played one called Dogurai the other day. It's about a dog samurai. Plays like a game boy platformer and was pretty fun. On River City Girls and Digimon Cyber Sleuth now. The latter has some pretty saucy outfit designs for female characters. Weird quirk is that it counts up your played time even in sleep mode. Never played another switch game that does that. So 3 hours of my playtime were not actually playing

I think the only way that would work is if the characters were Villainous protagonists like Kratos was in the OG GoWs. Even then players would probably feel sad.

Not really actually. The characterization part and most of the plot is mostly faithful to the original. The time jannies are the problem with their new story beats. Even so they said they'll follow the same path (hopefully) and Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret, and Red are all still Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret, and Red. Just given a bit more time to shine for each, not so much Red though

Yeah it's weird. Again Kitase has said they're planning on following the original story at least somewhat, people will just have to hope he keeps to his word on this at least. It's extremely word, this was the one project they COULDN'T fuck up, and they did but it was still good in it's own right. It's better than it had any right to be. I've gotten one call back in the past 12 years, 10 of which were me applying for other jobs while being a manager at a horrible job. Well, manager in title only. I've been playing various time sink games, but I won't give money to Squeenix, Crapcum, or several other groups due to their heinous bullshit, and I can't really be bothered to go through all of the hoops of yarrrring shit anymore, as my ISP has a killsat focused on anyone who gets them the ire of the kopyrite kops. I was considering getting River City Girls, but I haven't played local co-op since like 2008, and my best controller needs a new battery, which can only be sourced…. through China.

Anyway, it's a DualShock 4. I have a DS2, but I need analog triggers for driving segments in the games that would have them, and most adventure type games are made to play with a controller. Mildly annoying to bulldoze through the crowd of people near you when you're just trying to turn around and face a vendor NPC, using WASD for movement.

It's gone through two batteries since I bought it, and I've already worn the sticker off of the back. Weep not for it, for I even have replacement analog sticks (the electronic component, not the plastic caps) for it, and I'm eyeballing a replacement USB port, as it keeps disconnecting from the computer, which InputMapper doesn't like.
Bluetooth connectivity was always shoddy, which is why I went to USB connectivity. If I get too annoyed, I may just mod the damn controller to be USB-exclusive with no battery, and hardwire the connection so the socket on the controller won't be the fuck off point it currently is. Well, I say I may, but I have a shitload of parts for computer motherboards and game systems I've been sitting on for years, due to the complete lack of drive to do anything that isn't absolutely necessary. Fallout from that awful job I mentioned.
