That isn't even the issue. The issue is that the hack web devs who support these image hosting sites are too fucking lazy to support webm and mp4 on their pages. They are actually making it harder for themselves because an equivalent webm WITH SOUND is smaller than trying to convert that same webm into a soundless gif. I have created 30 second plus webms with sound in 720p that are less than 4 MB. For some reason there appears to be this abstract mental block in their retarded minds that believes they can't host webms and mp4s because those are videos and this is an image hosting site, despite the fact that it doesn't matter as long as you set an arbitrary size limit.
The most baffling thing by far, though, is when 4chan started supporting webms, they didn't support webms with sound. Now that shit makes NO fucking sense.

As for their trash quoting, you cannot easily reply to multiple posters at once like you can in imageboards. You have to quote their entire post, then write your reply bellow it. You have to go out of your way to see threads appear by bump-order. This means that the trash circlejerk/meme threads are always at the top, while others are hidden away.
And they appear only as titles too. In imageboards however we see both the title, OP's post and any picture he uploaded. On generic forums you can't. You have to visit the fucking thread in order to see what the fuck OP posted. This promotes retarded clickbait titles.

With the recent info I guess this is a fitting and hilarious time to revive the thread.
Battlefield 5 will soon have it's final update and all content will cease afterwards.
Like they are done, nothing else will be added.
To emphasis how kind of pathetic this is, Battlefield 4's lifespan went all the way to 2016, where support stopped entirely, 2014 was the year of all their expansions, and 2015 was some free shit.
Battlefield 1 (the shitty World War 1 game) lasted two years, nothing free was added afterwards for a year like BF4
Battlefield 5 lasted for basically a year and a quarter.
Unless they going for the COD release schedule that is pretty fucking sad, it's likely DICE is now sticking to their Star Wars game since that seems to be their primary money maker.

I know they won't do that but I would like a reskin of the Battlefield 4 system. Have vehicles on the map, a server browser, possibility to own a server and fully customize it, etc. Have a Conquest game mode that starts in space and ends on the surface of a planet (or the opposite), etc.
