Hey lads, we're gonna try a new thread game here and if it goes well, it shall be continued and improved upon for generations.
>What is rockbusters?
Well, do you remember Blockbusters? It was this game show where you would be given an initial(s) and then a question, and the answer to that question is that initial(s). That's similar to how this game will work. You will be given a cryptic clue and initials. I've cleverly tweaked the questions so the answers are all video games or video game characters or possibly video game developers.
For today, we'll just be going with video game titles so that there's no confusion, but we will later try some other things (all vidya related, mind you).
To give you an example, here's one of the cryptic clues I'll give
>While digging for coal, some guy just couldn't stop crying
>M <- (initials here)
So you've gotta work it out. He's digging for coal so he's like a Miner or in a mine. What is he doing? Well, he's crying, he's weeping. So put them together and you've got a video game. Mines. Weeper. Minesweeper. Brilliant, isn't it? Note how the game starts with M and that's the initials I gave with the clue. The cryptic clues I give from here on out will be ranging from easier to harder, and I'll let everyone know at some point in time from now (15-30 minutes, provided a lot of anons actually guess or respond) what the answers are and who won. If you win you get nothing for now, but I'm working out a deal with Mark to send out a copy of the hit film Ladder 49 and "The Best Air Guitar Album in the World Ever" to our lucky and or skilled winners.
