Why do I get so fucking mad when opponents try to get under my skin with stupid comments like "lol" after every kill? I don't let them know they made me upset but it totally worked. Strategies for letting go of this anger?

Play better games, or stop playing multiplayer shit. Especially modern garbage. Decided to play Call of Jewty Warzone and holy shit was it bad, all the guns were made to suck, armor makes it so that kills take unironically ten seconds to happen when shooting someone, the map is so open that campers are basically given the victory on a silver platter, now you have operators and multiple options for things that really don't need to be there but for whatever reason bloat all modern games, it's like they officially killed everything about old COD and replaced it with a Siege Tarkov Pubg clone but no one notices because it's free. Still can't believe I spent 100gb of my memory on that shit. Despite this the game has no in game chat to taunt people but I've never been angrier while playing a game because the kills were always bullshit.
Anyways go back.

because you don't like other people and seeing them be happier than you is worse than playing alone away from them. Just play more single player games, I stopped playing multiplayer games a year and a half ago and honestly have felt much happier gaming since then.
