Does someone know 1) if the game is still supported on 360, 2) if you can play it online on it and 3) if it has cross play with other consoles? Is some content missing?

2) you can play online but there's a subscription fee to access the online features
3) i'm not sure if the 360 version has support for cross play, and yes, there is now some content missing since there have been more updates since the 360 version was discontinued.
If you want your daughter to play Minecraft on a console you're better off getting her a cheap modern console (you don't need the Pro or X models for something like Minecraft).

Minecraft runs on some integrated cards if configured right.
If you don't want to spend cash on a good Desktop just for minecraft,
a basic laptop can be pretty fucking useful for any home, not only to run some games, but to watch shit, browse websites do some quick work, etc.
Just make sure to get a mouse because first person games without them is torture.
Also, if she's one of those kids that have smartphones, there's a smartphone version, might be an easier and cheaper solution.

both psn and xbl have utilities for blocking users. you can create an "allow" list and put nobody on it and password lock it and set the email to notify YOU so you'll know if anyone messages her and see/intercept the message without her knowledge. you can also create allow lists in routers the same way and block many xbl functions.
