If you guys are worried that the gameplay looks generic when the original gameplay leaked before, don't worry. It still looks generic but you can actually see how generic it is without the over exposure of the previous leak. Looks like the same gameplay showcase as before but I'm noticing a lot of cutscenes and quips. Likely the first tutorial stage but if this is constant throughout the game, it could possibly get annoying. It also sounds like Kamala Khan is confirmed in the game.

Check crapcum's CPS2 marvel games. A lot of the home console capeshit games from 3rd and 4th gen blow dicks because of bad optimization and hardware. Never cared for capeshit gamea anyways, so I never checked it out from 5th onwards.

It's being developed by Team Ninja (DOA, Ninja Gaiden), so it could range anywhere from below average to excellent. That being said, it also depends on how much Disney has meddled with the development of the game.

The gameplay they showed at E3 wasn't promising. Characters seemed vastly simplified with only a few abilities each, way too much focus on gimmicky set pieces and ebin theatrics/cutscenes, and the worst offender was HUGE numbers for the sake of it.

I think saying Ultimate Destruction is Just alright isn't giving it enough credit. Back when it released there really weren't any other games like it I must have played and replayed it close to 20 times. Ultimate Destruction was so well made that Prototype hardly had to change anything in regards to gameplay beyond swapping Hulk out for a new character.

I played them with friends/siblings long ago, so my opinion of them is heavily skewed. I thought they were great, though. Good bit of customization for your characters, plenty of secret shit to find/unlock, (mostly) destructable environment, decent loot system, etc etc.
They're miles above Ultimate Alliance, at the least. Especially if you can couch-op.

Looks about as much fun as what nu-God of War looked like. Which is fine, I guess, if that's your sort of thing. Looks too bland and fucking slow, the latter likely an effort to make it feel like attacks have some kind of 'oomph'. For as fanservice-y as something like Transformers: Devastation was, it still genuinely felt like a solid game, if I were to try and find something to compare this game to.
