what is this game?
this is the pvp mode for splinter cell chaos theory in which you play as 2 teams: the spies that have 3rd person, sneak around corners,stealthily get to the objectives without tripping the security system,snap necks from behind. Or play as the mercs in first person: big guys with big guns, protect the objectives using mines and spy traps,patrol the map to look around for the enemy and take them down.
my flashlight isn't working!
1:go to the tools folder and open up 3danalyze_withsavebatch.exe
2: search SCCT_versus.exe in the system folder and select it
3:on Game/Demo Fixes check the box Gun Metal Demo Fix
4:click the button Save Batch File and run the game with it
You must run the game through the batch file or else the flashlight won't work

CT back on the old xbox was a fantastic game for a fantastic console. It was the first console of its kind built for online play and it immediatly beat the shit out of the competition because of that.
These days its standard and we take it for granted but when I was a young teen, id spend all fucking day playing xbox live and made some of the best friends of my life on it.

I have to admit, the skillgap being so drastic between new and old players, which is because the game is so unlike any other shooters, makes it hard to play. Discord replacing voice chat also invalidates the voice hacking mechanic. Still, we've had plenty of other great gamenights Jedi Academy, SWAT 4, and Ace of Spades. We could probably bring them back because they're super simple to set up, support a lot of players, and are generally a blast. I think it's time for the third /radcorp/ revival rather than piggyback on /vg/ because this game is not meant for a board of our size. Ultimately, we need to set up a wiki that gives clear instructions on how to set up games and some proper scheduling. Gamenights can't be so ad-lib .

Unfortunately, it's not working. I read some instructions on a Steam discussion form and followed them to the letter with the exception of changing the default IP from 26.0.0.1 to 25.0.0.1. These instructions are for another VPN, but I think that Radmin should be fine as that's installed.

Men of War. Has an inbuilt LAN lobby and plenty of coop missions, the later assault squad games have skirmish modes and are better balanced but the earlier Faces of War and Men of War have actual missions designed for coop play.
The main reason coop games work better than competitive games is there's no frustration for the players involved due to the skillgaps you're inevitably going to get with gamenights since not everyone has played the chosen game.
