How easily can you guys "get into the zone?" That moment where every move is the right move. Since I play way too casually, I can really only get into it when I am in danger. I have been playing Bloodstained recently and managed to beat two bosses at very low health. I managed to finish off Zangetsu with literally one health left and the fight lasted more than a minute while at one health. It's a pretty good feeling, though, you can't help but feel you should be playing like that all the time.

Bloodstained isn't zone worthy, you know what's zone worthy? 1cc-ing shmups, doing hard charts on rhythm games, styling in cuhrayzee games, clearing tetris lines non-stop etc. Beating actual hard and harder games in general.

It's all diet. If you eat a balanced meal 3 times a day maybe 30min to an hour after the meal your body starts to process the sugar into energy. East excessive sugars/carbs will fuck your shit up though. Gotta live that balanced life to maintain focus

"the zone" fucking blows, that's just a buzzword for when you turn your brain off and just let muscle memory take over. The best feeling is when you're stressed out. You'll start to overthink things and end up making 4th dimensional observations about your opponent. Then proceed to read their mind for an entire round/game.

Not too easy. Happens maybe once a year or so. Only manage to do it in shooters like Unreal Tournament, Descent and last week I somehow managed to do it in PAYDAY 2. That had more to do with the rest of my team knowing exactly what to do and we all kinda synced. Felt great.

Well only once or twice I remember this FPS Combat Arms. I was very very good at it after a while and then I just uninstalled it one day and never played again.
