I get that people want Tifa to look like her DOA "clones", Hitomi and Kokoro but the biggest difference between the three is that Kokoro and Hitomi have the nearly identical 92-60-88 cm(off by 1 or two cm) they are also shorter than Tifa. That's also a rather uninformed claim because for one, the japanese rating board cero doesnt allow lewd shit below a D (17+) rating as a general rule and I assume Squeenix is aiming for a C (15+) rating in Japan. The Smash games are an example of how restrictive cero can be compared to the western boards, and I've seen some jap games being rated lower in the west than in Japan. Unironicly this. I've tried playing MM like 5 separate times. I don't like the dungeon design and the time limit doesn't add much tension after the third or fourth time you reset. Never got muh feels from the plot or side quests either except for Malon's sister getting depressed after she gets abducted by fucking aliens, and that was more of a "wat" than anything else. Hell no, I meant the latter. Starting from Colors it was back to Go to level -> Play all the acts -> Beat boss -> Repeat. Though I guess you can say PS3 Unleashed was actually the one that started the straightforward progression in a way. While it would be nice to bring back "different stories but a final one after completing them all" I don't want it to be like the Adventure games where at least the different stories where different and not the same levels you have to repeat aside from some minor tweaks starting from Heroes. I still like Heroes but I would have liked it better if each story had different level designs. That's what I meant from padding. Yeah, you could say there's some padding in Generations, but at least it didn't require me to repeat the levels again just to extend the gameplay.

I started the game and realized pretty soon it was always the same repetitive thing, you would find ammo just before entering a room for a fight and that was that, so I just shut it down and never played it again out of disappointment. Maybe it got better after a while, but I didn't care to find out because it most likely didn't. Not relevant to what I was responding, the ethics committee which were the ones who pushed the issue are by their very reason for being formed not gonna make a purely artistic decision, if they did they would not be an ethics committee.

And even if it was I seriously doubt bigger boobs alone would be enough for over PG13 equivalent in the vast majority of the wold, and that's without considering that the game has some things that they simply cannot omit that have a much higher chance to push the rating higher like the fact that you're an actual terrorist for one, or the bloodied areas at the top of the Shinra HQ, or the impaled midgar zolom before the mythril cave

Tifa needs to fit the rest of the cast and the scenes she's in. Lets say before Mako reactor they all line up and you have Tifa standing next to the rest of the cast. It's supposed to be a really cool moment and you have the camera angle just right.. then Tifa's mega tits block Cid's head and he looks dumb. Well better change tifa's height, and now her boobs look comedic so thats not a good solution.

Okay so we want to do this cool animation where Tifa gets impaled on a spear and then there's a particle explosion and it looks great with everyone else but Tifa's tits are so big it blocks the inner glow and all you see is a glowing boob.

We want Tifa to look larger than Yuffie but smaller than Cloud. If we put DDDDDDDDDDDDD I don't care what her real size is on that frame then she looks way out of scale and like she'll topple over at any moment.

We want to add some grapple techniques for her but her large boobs prevent us from getting the motion capture we need. The actress we have to mo cap her moves doesn't have boobs that large and some of the motions will cause clipping issues or look really awkward.

See how all of these things are artistic decisions and completely reasonable things to change to improve the game. I have no idea why they changed this shit, absolutely none, but I can understand as someone who does create art that things change from medium to medium. There are legit reasons why Tifa's tits as a base line could cause issues in cut scenes or in game animations. Remember Bayonetta's legs got extended to freak degrees not because that was the needed design style wise but because it was needed as a mechanic. She does lots of kicking and flipping with her legs. To get the reach to make those attacks satisfying they stretched her legs out.

I enjoyed TMS as a nuSona-lite RPG. The basic problem with the battle gameplay in FFVII is that the game is just completely piss easy. There's literally two mandatory bosses in the entire game that put up anything resembling a cerebral challenge, and that's on a low-level playthrough. The outcome of the game being piss easy is that all the depth of its materia system and other battle mechanics goes completely to waste. I don't think it would actually be all that hard to revanp bosses and other fights to make them interesting and tactical, but this isn't a task that Squeenix is interested in or up to.

The other issue is of course all the unskippable exposition the game has that makes replayability suck. This would be completely trivial to address. Squeenix of course, being a pretentious cinemaplay developer since and because of FFVII, would never do this.

Innovating on turn based games doesn't mean abandoning it entirely. FFXIII and FFXV are these unworkable homonculus of action and turn based where you can look at other games in the action or RPG genre that does any aspect of the combat better. Modern FF past FFX has done it but it didn't separate itself from turn based like they have been doing it for the past decade. Also it's a remake of a turn based game, I have a problem with that.

He always complains about rampant RNG and the game constantly feels rigged, or has completely retarded mechanics. Such as composure, where if you're down a goal or two, your players start playing poorly. But there's also a handicap/comeback mechanic, so opponent's players start playing like shit if he has a 2 goal lead. You can make the exact same pass ten times, but end up with five different results on where the ball goes and who hits the ball in a header jump, or where it goes after. I haven't played it in a while but FU is generally a little slower and more strategic than the other games. Monsters deal more damage, but also attack slower, decreasing the margin for error but making errors easier to avoid entirely. Guarding is important and obviously gunlance has an advantage there.

Actually, this is something (((EA))) added in modern Feefah just so little Timmy couldn't get his fee fees hurt if you're outplaying him. It's called scripting and basically dictates how much fun you're allowed to have per game, it also happens in single player albeit less regularly, with weaksauce teams being able to outperform stronger ones just cause the game decided to do so. There's no RNG in it, the game deliberately makes things worse the better you play and better the worse you play.
