Most of these are just ports, though.

Only ones sharing the same platform are the "original" and "plus" on PC, and the awful "3D" and "original's port" on 3DS.

There would only be 2 actual different versions across all platforms if it wasn't for the one 3D version exclusive to 3DS.

So, Spirit Sword was an item that was in antibirth that functioned like link's sword in top down zeldas

Essentially that item was worked into the swinging attack that the forgotten had, and whereas spirit sword is a pretty good addition that every character can benefit and synergize with, you have to play the forgotten to use his weapon period, and instead of a whirling attack, which would be useful he's got this weak little toss attack

Can't blame the guy for riding what people know about. Any time he makes a new and original game it flops because mass audiences would rather follow a title rather than a name in the industry or whatever is advertised the hardest. That's just how it is.

I'll pirate it like every other version of issac to see what's new and then be done with the game for good. BoI was at its best when you got interesting item combinations. Not when the enemies become bullet sponges and scale to your damage for "difficulty".

I don't know if that's the case after the various DLCs, since adding rebirth and unlocking a bunch of shit I constantly start off with rooms that just should not be thrown at you with NO items with bosses in unmarked rooms that are completely unfair without so much as a damage+ item.

I tried doing challenges for a while and got so burned out because of how many times I had to start over because of either dying on the first room or first boss, or I picked up an item that would have 100% fucked me.

They must have added more achievements too because I swear I had almost all of them and now there's 300 more I haven't earned.

Either Nicalis or Edmund was trying to steal the rights to the music so they could get a bigger cut of sales of the soundtrack. They were told to fuck off if I remember right, so now ridiculons making more music that would probably fit better in a different game.
