I think bringing back the little quests the villiagers give you. There just wasn't enough reason to say high to everyone in the later iterations whenever they just recite the same couple of responces. That and more holiday events. I can't verify this but it feels like there are less Holidays in New Leaf.

I'm looking forward to it, especially since it seems to have a bit more multiplayer focus. My best friend and her daughter are really in AC after I showed it to them on 3DS.
Best friend's literal words were "this looks dumb" when she saw what I was playing, followed by "can I play?" a few minutes later, followed by hours of her playing and asking if she could have my cartridge. Her daughter followed suit and had a blast, but since she's actually old enough to read and follow instructions now it will be even better.
So playing with them is gonna be great fun I think. I also like the idea of having my own island.

Minigames and a music maker. The Welcome Amiibo update in New Leaf added two minigames which greatly increased my enjoyment of the game. If they added more generic minigames like pool and darts that you could play with your villager friends then I'd be very happy. The ability to make and play custom songs on musical instruments would be very fun. It could make for some fun videos at the very least.

This thread almost makes me want to play it again, sadly their wasn't really much to engage me with it, Isabelle wasn't much and talking to the villagers was well pretty empty they really had so little to say, everyone in my town were like husks, and I loved the one on the gamecube, and yet, new leaf was just so bad, I haven't played it in year, or maybe it's just me who's changed I don't know anymore.

No I don think that, like as a kid I had the gamecube version and I would do things all the time, and talked to my villagers all the time, but maybe I've just grown maybe more cynical in my years, and I just can't enjoy it anymore, I remember getting one for the normal ds, and barley played that too, I think the problem is me honestly, I can't really enjoy simple things anymore, gaming to me has kinda become dead for me at this point, the most I play for is a hour, I used to spend whole days as a kid on games, but what I feel like is worth my time these day's is honestly art, maybe it's just a change of passions, maybe the worlds in games don't matter as much to me anymore, when I love the idea of making my own worlds for people to see, I don't really know, I just know I spend a 4 or 5 hours today drawing, with a friend. he's a lot better than me at it, but I want to be as good, and maybe be better. I'm not trying to shill my stuff, because when I see this picture I feel good about it, but I know I can do better way better, this is really my first year drawing, and I've made so much progress from where I was, and I just know I can do better I have the ability to go farther. So maybe things have changed for the better, or I'm just a faggot, I don't know, probability latter.
