He makes a lot of cancerous shit, yeah. He is currently working on 3 large serious SM64 hacks with other people that have significant gameplay changes and no memes. I suspect the newest hacks are made with reconstructed source code too. He supposedly has access to it even though it hasn't been publicly released yet. I saw it while searching cuckchan archives for mega links hoping to find rom dumps of new unlicensed games. Some fag leaked the unfinished code.

I'm more interested in other stuff I haven't heard about, since the 64 scene is really broken up. Aside from maybe discord, but fuck discord.

Seems like a lot of these stages in both of these first hacks are large for the sake of being large, with little to do in 80% of the scenes. I get that they now have the ability to do borderline endless stages, but what is the point if you're not going to put anything in them? It's like open world games.

Those Toadette and Luigi games look like they could be damn good. Toadette could use a few months more of polish.

Everything from M64 France so far has looked better than the other SM64 hacks by far. The other hacks seemed focused on just having needlessly large stages. These just look fun and concise.

Figured out the issues. Looks like jewgle killed the stream by forcing a countdown on embed viewers and it fucked up due to cytube's resyncing. I'd recommend watching the stream in a dedicated video player alongside the chat, or temporarily disabling video synchronization in your cytube options, waiting for the countdown to finish, then clicking the button in the jewtube player to skip to live playback.

Even if it's dead, I'll leave the room up, but this thread is enough for comments anyway.

Mario 64 DS online is neat. The French Mario 64 hacks looked like they could be some fun. And the Toadette and Luigi fangames looked like they could be good too, even if the Toadette one looks unpolished as hell and is apparently coming out soon.
