I work on one layer and use the eraser like a tool.
Don't polish turds and don't be afraid to start fresh. If you get too attached to one piece it means you are too afraid to draw it again which only holds you down.
I don't know what program you're using but consider switching to something else like Krita. At least Krita can most of the times restore your work to some degree after a crash.

Those are the best examples i can think of, though; I'd go on to mention Hirano Kota and Rikudo Koshi who barely do fanservice at all despite a history of porn dojinshi, or even that guy who did Anal Justice and then went on to do a pokemon comic series. It's a good game that I had a lot of fun with. Heroic mode + new game+ has been quite a challenge for me. The original definitely shows signs of the budget it was under with the limited special moves and heavy boss re-use, but even then I still consider it worthy of a playthrough, especially to appreciate the massive improvement Leifthrasir builds upon it. The original is still a ok action game, but the massive combat and alchemy overhaul puts it on a whole other level. Just be sure to play Classic first otherwise it's going to be very difficult going from the fast paced remake to the much slower and rougher original.
NISA didn't localize the game at all, that was done in-house by Atlus USA. NISA published the game in PAL territories while Atlus USA published it in NA territories. I think that's where the confusion comes from.

This is pretty much my first attempts at drawing I never put so much effort into as a kid, since I was easily discouraged when I saw other peoples art, but it's amazing when you pull off stuff, you didn't originally thought possible, and it's really fun to do.

I've constantly put my energy into things that went nowhere, turned out to be shit, suddenly became bad ideas or lost their appeal or just got picked apart for how poorly executed. All I got out of it was that it's pointless I never said I can't—I could if I really wanted to, but I just can't seem to get anything meaningful out of it because more often than not there's something wrong with it. It's always gotta be some faggot tearing at me for not being immaculate, or "tumblrshit" because they don't like simplistic cute animal people, or some hugboxy people insisting that I can't do any wrong no matter what and always drooling over my style. I can't seem to win.
Drawing a bunch of geometric shapes and playing around with shit sounds nice, but my autism always dictates for it to have a purpose or "complete" which fucks me up on a deeper level.

I draw cute shit all the time, it's pretty much what I'm exclusively good at, like if it's so hard for you to draw at 100%, why not try and make like a day or 2, where you put off everything and just try to draw, and if it goes no where, well you at least can say you try to make it work, you learn from your failure and do better next time, I've had art fail more times than I can count at this point, I still try, hell if it weren't for the drawing tool I use to keep crippling shaky hands steady, I wouldn't even bother trying to draw, the point is, if you have to ability to come on here and talk about your problems, then you have the ability to fix them one way or another. hell the only reason I get on here is for loomis and when /v/ draw thread finally shows up, I'm not expecting the world of you, and hell I don't draw shapes every day, I don't do 100 different hand gestures, but I study the people who have, and then I follow their example, fuck most the time I'm fumbling around in the dark before I actually land on something, you know if you really want help drawing, you can go to loomis and find the drawpile link, almost always someone on, like ever since I join that, I've done nothing but improved, it's really nice and comfy, not many there ether, so a very chill.

Nothing wrong with critique, but my issue is that i'm never going to "git gud" nor ever get anything perfect right with my art, which makes it feel pointless. There's actual critique here and there, i've had rough critics before, but constantly trying to outdo my last drawing in terms of quality and such is only going to exhaust me. You can either do something about it, or just complain/flat out ignore any thing that might pull you out of your safe space. That's the cards your being dealt, it sucks, it's shit, but that's life, you got to make the most of it.
Also when I'm bored I like to draw dumb low effort shit sometimes, so I guess picture related, I mostly made it, because of fucking weird and retarded it looked, gave me a giggle, still kind of does.

Yeah, I see what you're getting at, but what i'm feeling is an endless road trip where i'm running low on gas, there's next to no gas stations, and the low fuel light keeps blaring and getting progressively louder as it goes on. What i'm trying to say is that I don't feel like i'm going anywhere with my art even with pages upon pages of experience, practice and other fuckery. For all I know, I could be talking out of my ass since I can hardly ass myself to stay on task without shit happening every now and then - ADHD calls - but I can't definitely say until I'm able to wrangle myself and get into it.

Well, that sounds more like burn out if any thing, it sounds like you have no fresh resources, and haven't had a break for a while, Well what you might need to do, find another hobby you can latch onto for a bit, like watching stuff, or maybe read book, you know what I actually love to do, is I like to look at and art, I don't mean study it, like find weird art, or art videos, where I can look someone elses work, and try think about the process, like what was going though their head when they were making it, their's plenty of that stuff on jewtube, salad fingers, I would have given a better exsample of a really cool fucking shit, it was a animation series base on the philadelphia experiment, where the world is basiclly filled with braindead people, who shuffle along, and all of them you can tell have no life in their eyes, static was main theme of the story, life was colorless beak beyond what we even care to call are own day to day, it was really fucking good but I can't fucking remember the damn name, maybe some other anon will remember it, but yeah try something like where you sort of try to get the head of another artist and see what their thinking though there art.

Draw for fun, because thats where the motivation is, but if you want to improve quicker, draw what you hate drawing the most. You hate it because the outcome always looks like shit, and it looks like shit because you suck at it. And don't just practice blindly, get some guidelines, either from a mentor, a book or just trying to ape someone better, and practice towards that. A small amount of concerted measured effort will get you much farther than years of self pleasing meandering.
If you want to get better fast you gotta challenge yourself, works towards a known good goal and work on the things you suck the most at. Thats how you see improvements relatively faster (Its still gonna take months).

If this is what style you want to do, you may want to check out some Sumi-e. It's all about the minimalist use of the least lines possible to convey your image. That'll be a great way learn to do this kind of Japanese manga work. Be a new way to think of drawing for you. If you wanted to go real media with it I know your hand issues would be a problem, I'm thinking maybe one of those steadying and lifting hand rests Calligraphers use could help?
Also, glad you're sticking with it and that your attitude improved since you sperged on me that thread a few back. Keep at it Anon!
