Looks colossally scripted, if those tiny 5 second clips were even "gameplay".

I saw people getting hyped for this but I don't know why. The character models look so low quality for something coming out on playstation 4 and other platforms. Gameplay was brief so you can't really tell how well it'll play. I thought Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 was way better than what they showed for Avengers. Whoever did the hair textures should be fired from his job because they look like they went through playing alimony.

I never understood why people like capeshit. Writing is literally worse than in a generic shonen anime (not to mention pozzed as fuck) and the majority of footage is just CGI eyecandy. I get it might evoke some nostalgia in people who grew up with comic books, but the bulk of today's target audience never even touched a comic book. So what the hell is the appeal?

The fact that they have a framerate tank 54 seconds in is far from reassuring though.

I will defend the MCU because they did a damn fine job into not only adapting comic but leaving most of the pozz till the end and actually developing characters enough for you to give a shit.

The story is still retard tier, but those characters on screen that you spent 10 years following really grow on you. In the end they pushed captain dyke's worse iteration but had little to no impact in the end. It was simply well done. But now that is over, even though there are more movies far more pozzed coming, that's just it. No game will do it justice, much less this game, and it should be left to be what it is, and luckily, most actors, the good ones like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Scarlet Johanson won't go back to it.

The movies are too formulaic and safe. I'm not a big movie buff but by the second iron man movie I had no interest in the slightest and every time I happen to catch a glimpse of any of it, it practically looks the same.

What's the name of the doujin?

It seems like this is the year of no gameplay and that was true even for the big games on the showroom floor for the general audience. You don't even get to play the game demo. You get to wait up to 3 hours in line for a gameplay video, and according to a guy I trust who was there, the gameplay is about as terrible as the game looks.

There are quick time events and the game is mostly on rails that lead to a closed off area to fight. Even ironman flight is on rails just like that one superman game section from one of the playstation games. There is no complexity and it plays like a lego's version of avengers.

Perform 3 hit combo and do a special move seems like all the complexit you'll get. If what my guy is saying is true and I do trust him, the gameplay is trash. No wonder they didn't show gameplay and talk about the story.

overly exposed white since it's being taken off a screen and it's between people. You'll see much better in the hulk and black widow parts with the auto running sections. probably can't see the button prompts for quick time events but you'll notice the pauses where they should occur. I'll be a little lenient and say that it's overly cinematic for the first part and will open up more later in the game but it looks like trash to me from this closed off gameplay demonstration.

so like any other adoption? for capeshit specifically it's unironically better as most comic books. it's self-containted, linear and keeps it's story somewhat condensed even with the infinity gauntlet and the various origin movies.

That's just because they keep fucking rebooting it and starting over from scratch. You can think of it like alternate Spiderman from multiple separate universes or whatever. The problem with comics is that similar shit happens when new writers pick up a franchise, except they try to retcon every motherfucking new development as actually all happening in the same universe (or a related multiverse). Imagine trying to cram all the different iterations of Spiderman movies (every single one of which rehashed the origin story) into a cogent plotline. That's what comics do. And then there's the issue (lol, puns) where some comic storylines just get cancelled or the writer dies or whatever shit and so the story never finishes.

If nothing else, when you go to watch a movie or pick up a book, you can be reasonably well-assured that IT WILL AT LEAST HAVE AN ENDING, and not just stop partway. Can't say the same about comics, or manga for that matter. Thanks, Togashi.
