That kind of technology is now replaced with webgl, webassembly and some other shit. Game engines that somehow port their entire bloated game into the web browser like unity & unreal are more ideal to use. Outside of games, there's no need for flash when HTML5 introduced a functional video player.

Html even with all it's new dodads still doesn't come anywhere near flash.

This is because most things with html is done using raw images/media. Flash used vector graphics which allowed it to be smaller, more portable have quality settings and not lag your entire fucking browser because it was an external plugin.

Javashit is still worse then flash ever was. The only good thing that came from modern web was the ability to run raw media, anything webgl or javashit will forever be shit.

Newgrounds is pretty bad, most of the old shit I used to play/watch got BLAMMED or deleted for no reason by the creator, some games where good like madness interactive, alien hominid, all those pico games,etc but for stickfigure shit i just went to other sites.
