Long story short, I live in a country where they have a zero tolerance policy for any means of piracy.

If I purchase it (or so much as the modchip) by "visible" means, I might get immediately arrested.

I'm not an expert on peeling onions, so I need someone to show me a site where I can buy it with Bitcoins preferably.

It's stupid, you might say I'm paranoid, but it's better than an Infringement charge and a life-long fine. I already know a few people who got caught…

I think I read somewhere that it's possible to do FHDB from scratch by yourself. You might look into that if it's true. Then you just need to bring your own unmodded console and no one would know. Alternatively, someone here could probably send you an FMCB card to get you started, same deal (unmodded console) but it could get caught by customs if they're anal enough. It would just look like a normal memory card so probably not, but if they're aware of the exploit and test it with a PS2 or by some other means to check for the payload, they would know. I don't know if they would go after you for it if that happened or just confiscate the card.

I know that the reddit community for Xbox softmodding has some flash drives and memory cards that they pass around with each other, you just make a request in the thread and work out the details from PM. I'd figure the PS2 section has something similar as well.

you can mod a ps2 by yourself with parts that are all look above board

only problem is bigger IDE HDs are expensive

you could get an IDE to SATA converter, however be warned there are size limitations andd you'd need a flat converter and a 2.5in Sata drive
