I don't really see what you're trying to get at here, most games have a handful of pretty weird weapons, but if any one game comes to mind probably the Sengoku Basara series. Includes such practical weapons as bladed hula hoops, parade floats, 6 swords held in two hands, prayer beads, yo-yo shuriken, anchors and a pole dancing ninja.

That's actually not a bayonet, it's a knife strapped to the gun. And in the game, your character swings the gun kind of like a bat and uses the edge of the knife to cut, not stab.
This is actually the norm for any weapon whose barrel is longer than the melee weapon in Borderlands games, only when a melee weapon (such as a byonet) is longer than the barrel does it get used as an actual bayonet for stabbing.

Japanese games have a lot of unusual weapons, anon. They go from weird/unusual but acceptable, to totally stupid, like Grune in Takes of Legendia using a vase, or Genis in Symphonia with a kendama. There was a decent justification (playing with it makes him concentrate on his incantations), but in-game, his basic attack was slow as molasses, despite the anime intro showed him swinging it fast and skillfully.
