>Immortal Redneck
Great art design, some cool powers but way too many flying enemies and jumping is way too floaty (especially with the low grav scroll.) Miserly upgrade economy and the levels take forever to clear. Some nice verticality (and mantling). Weapons mostly feel like shit but I like the Tesla Sword and the Gatling Gun. I really detest the Rogue Legacy upgrade tree, it feels like I'm just grinding my way to beat the final boss (died twice to it.) Weirdly goreless for a game that drops "fuck" like an early 2000s Dane Cook bit.
>Paranautical Activity
This was the first one of these games to crop up, a 3D Binding of Isaac clone with a voxelly aesthetic that's rather spartan but serviceable. Despite very much feeling like "Babby's First Game" it might actually be my favourite of the bunch, but I bought it on launch straight from the Dev's website so I might have a little nostalgia for it. I don't think I've ever seen another person saying they like this game.
>Ziggurat
Suffers from a lot of the same problems as Immortal Redneck: too many flying enemies, too many re-used rooms. I like the guns better in Redneck but this is probably a better game, I only have a couple hours in it though.
>Eldritch
Probably the most successful out of this batch. Cool stealth-based combat and some great sound design but the Minecraft-based level design doesn't really turn me on. Has mantling, as every good FPS should. A little too easy iirc.
>STRAFE
Along with Paranautical I'm probably a bit of a contrarian on this one. I can see why people hate it: Unity already blows and STRAFE in particular runs like shit, effectively limiting you to one weapon in a supposed throwback was stupid, and there's not much justification for it to have any procedural generation anyway. It's gory as fuck, though, and I really got into the loop on this one last summer.
>Tower of Guns
Terrible gamefeel but the bullet hell elements and bosses were pretty cool. Bad level generation.
>Unloved
Made by a semi-loved DOOM modder, felt like an asset-flip.
>Sir, You Are Being Hunted
Played it once six years ago and never went back.
>Wasted
Trash.
>Rogue Shooter: The FPS Roguelike
>Heavy Bullets
>Fancy Skulls
These games all had flat, uninteresting level generation. Didn't play them much.
Haven't checked out City of Brass or Mothergunship but they're on my list.

Why don't you suck my ass then take your ultra obscure hipster Wapanese strawmans elsewhere.
