I disagree. The game has a very low TTK, uses real special ops teams (SWAT, Spetsnaz, SAS, etc.), and even references actual operations in their backstories. The game reflects realism in many ways, women just seem to always trump it.

I've been saying for a while that the tom clancy license should be revoked. If his estate gave a fuck(or if he ever even gave a fuck) about the shit they put his name on he wouldn't approve. The game is pozzed to shit aesthetics wise and the design team gets lazier and lazier when it comes to character creation every season.

Where the fuck is ding chavez? john clark? etc. etc. etc. I thought they were eventually going to tie this game into the boomer clancyverse but instead it's still just in the ubiverse and has no connection to the lit.

Not to mention the fact that the developers keep intentionally handicapping players who are good in a gunfight. Ubisoft consistently takes away sights from 3 speed operators, now they took ash's acog away, a couple seasons ago they reduced the deviations in speed between the armor classes so 3 speed operators move slower and 3 armors move faster(WHY!!), they keep adding more and more pro "technology" operators that basically press buttons and force you to react(when you deal with let's say a competent blitz and a lion your chances of winning that gunfight go down so significantly it's like the game is fucking you slot machine style)

They've just embraced the slot machine style gameplay the only problem is that the mechanical shooting component of the game has a high ass skill ceiling so the good players will abuse the shit out of the easy mode operators. The addition of these easy mode intel or fragging ops like lion/jackal/maestro/echo's buff/etc. etc. has made the game much more of a chore. In the past at least all I had to deal with was a fucking mira window ok smoke it or keep prefiring her peeking angles or just avoid it. Now it's like you have to deal with these types of scenarios 3 fold IE getting lit up by a yokai constantly pinged by valk etc. etc. or playing defense fucking lion scan goes off, jackal scan goes off(which automatically makes 1 player nearly useless for the whole fucking round) blitz comes rushing in for free frags on roamers etc.

Game is in a world of shit.

These graphs never mean shit on every level of play there are different strats/different teams every fucking plat/diamond stack plays the game differently. If you were to take that graph seriously then one would have to nerf buck of all operators…. Probably the most fair operator in the entire fucking game. Blitz "Too Weak" in what sense? He's a fragging machine now that's all he's designed for if the top blitz players are losing it's because anchoring ops are too strong. None of these graphs take into consideration what type of counters exist for every op. There is no conceivable way that jackal is "too weak" in this game. He has one of the best assault rifles, he has a secondary shotgun which he can use for soft destruction and he has smoke grenades and a gadget that makes roamers useless. The reason why rook and doc are so overpicked is because in skilled hands doc/rook because of their guns/acogs are fragging machines. The reason why people pick thatcher/thermite is because still to this day they are the only operators that are good for "destroying reinforced walls in a way that you can use it as an entry point" Thermite is just the best operator for blowing up a wall, Thatcher is still the best op for easily destroying gadgets and making thermites life easier.

You use the other OP characters with these characters because on certain maps you kind of just need the essentials depending on how defense is playing the game.

Because of his partial bodyshield tanking chip damage to your toes or fingers is an almost inevitable result, and although your killing potential is downright broken for 1v1s around corners, Blitz is essentially deadlocked if more than one attacker looks at you (basically always if you're dealing with a remotely competent team), doubly so if you have to cross no man's land to get to them, and triply so since there's bound to be a fuckton of traps you'd have to drone out to stand a chance first. At most you can take out one guy with you as his teammate headshots you. Also consider that blinded attackers will behave incredibly erratically by shooting or meleeing around wildly which can randomly get you if you don't hang back and wait for a safe opportunity to strike, which in a heated situation may be a wasted opportunity.

Basically without a team to have his back Blitz is a meme against at least two anchors, so he's rather situational

Lion is Op, Glaz is a problem operator just because of his unique nature not because he himself is OP. Jackal is op just due to the nature of his gadget "Press one button and track someone free kills or the person just has to hide and become useless whilst attackers hold angles on him waiting for him to come out and die".

I think for the most part the aussie ops are "meh" just like the moroccan ops. The only thing is is that gridlock has a really good fucking gun and if you play alot of rook/doc playing her will just feel really natural for you and you can flick around like crazy(also the sight has really no downside it's better than acogs there is no shroud of any sort blocking your vision)

Blitz is OP for the simple reason that he doesn't take skill to frag with. If the blitz player isn't a retard who likes running into traps he can just do alot of things to fuck with people. In a 1v1 fight blitz always has the advantage over anyone unless they have a nitro cell(even if they have cell doesn't mean they are gonna be able to nail him with it because he can sprint)

Most blitz fights are 50/50s. He runs at you you melee you kill him, He runs at you stops and flashes you die

Yes but this is due to not having competent team members remember this is a team game. In 1v1 scenarios blitz dictates everything and "Oh just shoot his hand" is not an argument because competent shield players know how to use cover and prefire and all that jazz. By himself he is shit. When he is leading a charge he's fucking unstoppable in alot of scenarios(you can't rush him he's got backup) etc. there are so many manners in which blitz breaks the fundamentals of how to engage in a shootout I cannot even begin.

Honestly the easiest way to take out blitz/lion rushes is by having a dual roaming team. When you have someone else to hold a cross angle the kill hungry rushers tend to ignore everything but you and end up getting themselves fucked up in a huge crossfire.

Also I would like to add caveira to the list of "op" ops even though I think in a 1v1 she's not the best but her abilities fundamentally break the rules of the game. "Silent step" is a bullshit magical ability. We actually have magic in this game. She just activates her magical sneakers and now she doesn't make noise when she moves around. Honestly she's never really bothered me as an Operator though because if you just watch your flanks this kind of shit doesn't really fly but in the right hands she's definitely a fucking problem. Right now she makes ela and vigil look like shit tier fraggers especially since every fucking cav player has the auto macro for that pistol. Silent step is nothing more than a crutch for people who can't roam effectively.

I really don't think Jackal is that bad. Is gadget is strong and 3 uses is very generous. However, due to the fact that it's a timed ping, it's easy for a faster ops to outrun it, which means that the attackers have to choose between a kill or going for the obj.

I would actually agree with this. All cav needs is one dumbass to completely flip the round, and, the only real counter is staying close to stop the interrogation or going outside so the defenders are forced to get revealed. All this said, Cav has been nerfed with nearly every update.

Yea but the thing is unless that guy has a 5 man with information then he doesn't know where the attackers are who are holding angles on him. You know how wide open some of these maps are or have fun in coastline when you get jackal pinged(you are better off hiding and waiting for them to rush you then trying to outrun a ping back to site because there aren't enough rotational areas, corridors too small, no cover, etc. The entire problem is that jackal himself just gets free information with no work put in. He can basically drone people with his gagdet then actually drone other people at the same time. The OP nature of a jackal based/dokkaebi/lion team is ridiculous(not to mention this team is also the smoke plant rush team aswell)

In my eyes no because the problem is is not that the fights are 50/50s it's that he dictates how the fight takes place. Blitz because once again 1 shot headshots are a thing can face you and dictate the pace of the fight. So you have to play around his shield as opposed to any normal operator who you can just shoot or in the case of montagne you can just ignore him unless he drops his shield(which you can react to and punish the fuck out of him he also can't sprint fast so nitro'ing him is relatively easy)

The thing about R6 is that singular operators by themselves aren't really OP I'm not making this a clinic to bash on jackal and blitz. I just see the advantages they have though and can't help but notice "hey buddy that's a little too strong in a game like this"

I could bitch for an hour about blackbeard but the only difference between beard and blitz in my mind is that at least I know if I shoot beard 3 times in the face he will die.

Characters like Lion and why they exist puzzles me entirely when I look at the operators in this game. "Ok this operator stops nades, he stops drones/electronics, he blows up walls, etc." then there is this random as fuck design philosophy that is "This guy makes you stand still the sound of his gadget deafens you and or get spotted and possibly killed/wallbanged" This is the reason why I think this is a fundamentally imbalanced game that's only good now for shootouts. I'm just gonna call it the "Lion Factor" and it's just what I hate now. There is now such a diverse cast of operators that at this point the combination of what they can achieve even whilst pressing buttons at random moments has lead to me losing more often than before.

To be honest I've never found myself getting cockblocked that often by Lion, usually they only fuck me over when the defenders are knee deep into the obj and we were bound to lose anyways, but then again I mostly play on Casual so I have no idea what it's like in Ranked. He's a shit operator and the upcoming nerf will at least soothe the annoyance somewhat, though most of my losses I can't really attribute to being deadlocked by several no-effort abilities from the other team to the point where I'd say it's actively ruining the game. The newer ops certainly have been straying away from that design philosophy anyways
