I was made aware of this through Gamehut (the madman that created Sonic 3D Blast Director's Cut) and this seems like the most misguided effort to create a legal emulation platform I've ever seen.

But people bought the mini-nes and other plug n play crap like that, so what do I know?

I figured normalfags would eat it up, but was pleasantly surprised at all the people destroying him in the comments in only 24 hours saying they would only do it if they got the actual roms and if it wasn't subscription based. It's just a shame that he turned out this way. He showed so much promise as a content creator with the Sonic 3D Blast and Sega Genesis stuff, but then he had to shoot himself right in the foot here.

You know I thought I would be upset at him calling emulators "fiddly" but y'know the funny thing is he's probably using the emulators for the actual server. I doubt he could find a thousand fuckers ready to recode a bunch of retro shit for a streaming service.

Not to mention, and sega already figured this out. People are MORE than willing to pay for a ROM file that isn't strapped to a shitty emulator.
