Does anyone know what Duke Nukem says in the games? I have the game.com version and he seems like a cool guy on the cover, but I can't make out what he says. I think he says something about ass, is he, like, gay? Not that there's anything super wrong with a gay guy thats a cool action hero if it's not his defining trait but he seems to say it a lot. That being said If I got a radio transmission that was static broken up with "ass" I'd assume the other person was primarily gay and secondary anything else.

I've actually never heard of this, but it looks cool. It's pretty clear though that all these handhelds just in the same area of abandonded and largely pointless. I pointed out the gizmondo because of its really weird rubber and it has its own page on the emu tech wiki. People also had it as a big emulation device around 2009

I've got a bit of a hard-on for obscure failed handhelds. Someday I hope I can own one or both of these things. I've always thought Gizmondo was little more than a joke so it's interesting to know that it actually has emulators. The main points I can tell you about it are that it was funded by euro mafia types (guy who famously crashed a ferrari) and that nowadays they are notorious for the rubber 'melting' off. As for the Zodiac I don't think there is anything particularly wrong with it, it mostly failed due to price point and the GBA juggernaut being utterly unstoppable, then the PSP releasing shortly after was the final nail in its coffin.

It was about in 08 or 09 on the OpenPandora forums where there was a couple of threads about the Gizmondo. IIRC, Genesis was the limit for it, snes ran like garbage without an extreme amount of speed hacks. I've never been a big fan of devices that cant do better than SNES so I never considered it.
