Oy, any anons know where the scripts for the opening of half-life 2 episode 1 are in the game files? I've been playing through half life 2 on Gmod with cool guns since its so much cooler and lets me live out my /k/ fantasies, but I got stuck at the beginning of half-life 2 episode 1 with the opening not having the get out of the rubble pile scene so I just stay there and can't get up. Any anons ever do the same or know where to find the missing scenes? It might be a problem with how I mounted the game onto gmod but I don't know for sure.

I know, its going to be my last case resort but damn I don't want to skip it. I tried killing myself in the console but Dog just glitches out with the gravity gun and can't help alyx so I might be fucked unless I learn some scrips commands, find the right scripts, or unless spawning another dog lets him do a script another one can't.

Update, I've tried some console commands from https:/ /steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=170589737 in order to find a way out of it, but outside of the kill command, nothing has worked. And after a bad experience with the exit and nextdemo cmd, I'm thinking its more trouble than its worth to boot up the same 10 minute long cutscene to try something new and unless one of you know a cmd to mess with sequences, exit vehicles or speed up cutscenes, I not gonna use anything other than kill.

Update, I fucking did It!!! I used kill then some copious use of the physics gun to move alyx and dog around but It paid off. Look for yourself.

gmod uses hl2's easy difficulty hp values and weapon damage therefore playing it in gmod is pointless, even if you use a mod to fix values headshots are broken so enemies are extreme bullet sponges

Lol, already have an addon that has hard difficulty on, also I'm not using vanilla weapons so the *bullet sponges* argument is pointless. You are just trying to act superior and smart when you are neither. Though there isn't much use to this thread and looking back it would have been better to post in a qtddtot thread.
