Funkos usually have characters you can't normally find on store shelves, like Bendy, Cuphead, etc.

All of the funko pops are cheap as fuck to make, and the stores get them in blobs, they're sold because they're funko pops, not because they're of certain characters out right now.

Essentially they can convince stores to sell them because they're funko pops, not because they're the latest craze merchandise, like recent meme movie/games that come out.

Stores usually have so many of these fucking things that they take up around at least 5 boxes, and since they're figurines you can just hold onto older ones and rotate in new ones, they gain in autism value if they're all not sold.

I've seen some really bad ones in a local card shop. The dude was fully aware of his paper addiction, but I doubt he could ever stop himself. It's crazy how addicted people are to opening packs and boxes. A millionaire opening boxes every week isn't going to affect their finances in the least.
