The naval battles have no weight and the land battles are tiny and look extremely shallow. There's no way any non-shill looks at that footage and thinks it'll be even as good as Empire never mind better.

I've not looked at the videos or anything, but if the game functions like the Hegemony series it'll be fun for a bit then get boring once you've conquered one or two enemies and you'll probably never pick it up again. If hegemony had multiplayer it'd be one of the most successful RTS franchises because AI simply can't outthink a real humen bean
