Ys 8 - I really, REALLY enjoyed it but something is still missing.

Hexen - It was a headache but I also enjoyed it. Good music too.

2hu Luna - Too easy, I did not particularly like it as much as I did any of their other games

BloodStained: Curse of the Moon - I really enjoy it but it's absurdly easy.

Ys Chronicles - I remembered I'd only finished this game on the PCE, so I figured why not while I'm still hot and ready for Ys 9. It's kicking my ass, actually difficult boss fights in Ys is something I've completely forgotten how to deal with.

Forced - It's actually really fun. I want to postpone to play it in co-op with a friend. Now all I need to do is find one

Yen's worth it if you plan on playing through the DLC, particularly blood and wine. Still a bit of a bitch but at least you get some closure with her moving in at your estate in Toussaint. I didn't know it was possible to fail the botchling thing, figured you either did it and it worked (or you game overed), or you didn't do it.

Funny, that was my exact complaint about W2 combat, and W3 does that SO MUCH better than W2. I never really had that problem in W3, the main problem with combat there is how stat-based everything is, and especially how if you aren't within a few levels of your target it takes fuck all damage.

Its not the devs, its the original writer himself.

I recall the books stating witchers do that shit because they're much faster than humans so they can do it without exposing themselves to easy hits and it confuses the fuck out of people who aren't used to that sort of stuff.

I'm playing Rune Factory Frontier on Dolphin. On my way to do the final boss, and marry either Anette or Rosetta. I just discovered that if you have a wiimote amd nunchuck you can knock on doors before 9 am, maybe I'll have to get one.

After this I think I'll give Elona a try.

Super Metroid for the first time, Ys I and II, and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

Still fooling around in ToD. RYNO IV is a satisfying gun, but seems a NG+ weapon mostly, considering how late you can first get in a standard run, thus at that point it takes time to evolve and a good bit of bolts (which I'd already spent on other mods) to upgrade. Even at level 1, it's still powerful as hell, but burns its 300 ammo really fast. Thankfully ammo pickups for it come in packs of 60. Also playing some AM2R on the side.

Might as well carry on with A Crack in Time. Also been debating on whether to start 3D Dot Game Heroes or Fragile Dreams after that.

How so? Just asking since I remember with the 360 and PS3 versions you could remap buttons. Not sure if that applies to the remaster or PC port though.

Bug wise the only egregious one I'd encountered was a boss that crashed the game until I fucked around with shadows.

Translation wise it's playable, but they gave up by the end which is where most of my problems lie.

I was talking more on bosses, I am not and was never a fan of the way they played when designed around flash guard/move.

Magic Pengel is a Ghibli-comissioned JRPG they got Taito for, kind of like with Jade Cocoon 1, the sequels were developed without their input and aren't exactly comparable.

Not like that, it's more "X is to confirm, but it's actually O on my controller" sort of deal. The buttons are mismatched.

Recently picked up Persona 5 and am slowly whittling through it (by slowly I mean i'm only 8 hours in) between IRL shit. It's probably the most fun game I've played this year

I picked up Nier:Automata to play afterwards as I already played through it on PC after pirating and it was good enough to warrant picking up a physical copy for my dead console. Someone also reccomended Peronsa 4 since I like 5 so I'll probably get that next.

Trying to play more games to find pieces about them I like to motivate working on my own.

Currently playing through The Last Remnant, now that the plot is starting to pick up the game is getting super fun. For all its quirks I think it's among one of my favorite RPGs now, the extremely stupid protagonist aside.

I had the impression that the obscure class progression would be annoying but it hasn't screwed me up yet. I might even go sofar as to say I like it.
