Persona 5 is technically a PS3 game, there's not really much you can do to enhance it besides increase the resolution, and switch is barely a A step above PS3 on a good day. The r could stand for red, just like how Persona 4 had Persona the "golden", so what we might be getting is Persona 5 red addition. There's also the possibility we might get something similar to Persona 3 Fez, a semi expansion pack/ continuation of the story….. either way whatever we get this time it's going to be full of repurposed assets and based on the same game engine as the original with a few enhancements or adjustments.

I'm not sure myself honestly, assuming FeMC operates on her own I would hope like Goro she is more of a devil summoner type character and packs a team of demons with her on her metaverse jaunts. If the overall scenario of the game is largely unchanged and instead she's tacked on with an optional side dungeon like Marie was, she's really just going to feel like Dante from Nocturne all over again.
