Fxaa anti aliasing on or off does nothing. Changing resolution or graphics does nothing. Reinstalling windows does nothing. Verifying game cache does nothing. Help me.

Do you know how many times I've uninstalled and reinstalled that game? I think most serious gamers have done that countless times for their respective games. A real shame on valve's part. Two of my friends are experiencing the same issues but not as frequently. Back to css I guess, no issues what so ever there.

Nvidia settings -> program settings -> turn on: trible buffer/threaded optimized/v-sync/full power -> save change -> go ingame settings -> turn off v-sync

Triple Buffering/Threaded Optimization are OpenGL only settings

Thread Optimization can kill performance with some games

Triple Buffering doesnt improve performance at all, it adds an extra 3rd buffer, that sort of smoothes out the spikes but it lower FPS overall

Vsync does everything bad - more input lag and lower fps, this one could be ok with Fast Sync and high fps but regular v-sync is super heavy
