Star Allies is pretty shit.

>Big puzzle pieces are pretty much always in a puzzle room that is along the main path
>Small puzzle pieces are generic collectibles that fill the stages, and it doesn't matter which stage you get them from they respawn on each level reentry too
>Small puzzle pieces are rare enough that even after 100%ing the main story, doing boss rush all the way through the secret difficulty, playing around in both minigames, doing a few runs of the main story as partner characters you unlock the ability to select a partner only character after beating the story, and 100%ing the shadow world, I still didn't have all the puzzles filled out
>Incredibly common extra lives and abilities being almost impossible to lose means there is no point in exploring aside from shitty puzzle pieces
>The biggest factor when deciding on abilities to keep is movement speed because fights are easy as shit and kirby's him in particular base mobility is stupidly slow
>Something about the frame rate and movement graphics doesn't mix well, and everything looks really awful
>The game has very noticable slowdowns even if you aren't doing anything crazy
