aw yis
Basically everything on Nitrome was a huge hit for me, specifically Mutiny, Headrush, that ice breaking game with the vikings, Final Ninja, and Final Ninja Zero. There's a bunch of other ones that I remember the gameplay but not the name, like a Lemmings-esque game with mushroom creatures, some treadmill game that would purposefully cut in and out like you were playing it on an old TV, a building demolition one, and one where you build your own tank and upgrade and buy new parts for it.
Learn to Fly 1 and 2 were also a shitton of fun, working your way up the upgrade chain as the days go by.
Me and my sister had a strange liking for escape the room games, probably because she'd play a lot of Nancy Drew games and I'd always watch her. Escape the Phone Booth was my favorite. Problem was a lot of the games were in Japanese and on shady sites like Gamershood, which made understanding them difficult.
Didn't really like the horror games that much, but I remember one where you're trapped in a house surrounded by zombies and you have to escape, and it involves electrocuting some zombie stuck in the basement. Scariest game I remember playing was called Monster Basement I think, it's a point and click where you're trapped in a basement with monsters. I remember you get an eyeball-shaped screwdriver sent to you by some creepy fuck over the phone HANDYMAN IS ON THE WAY and there's a monster that appears after you get to the next segment that you have to kill with an axe before he buttfucks you. That game scared the ever living shit out of me.
StickRPG was also a lot of fun, but my parents didn't like it when I played it because you could get into bar fights and make money off of it, so I'd make a deal with them that I could play it as long as I didn't go in the bar. Bloxtris (I think?) was fun as well, you'd have to guide a rectangle into a square hole without falling off the map.
Some other ones I can think of that don't really fit in a category
>Raft Wars dat twist ending tho
>Zombie Trailer Park
>Bloons Tower Defense and its many clones
>Flash Element TD 2 (I think that's my favorite of all time since I still play it from time to time today)
>Papa's Burgeria
Should be able to think of more later on
