it's also a mistery to me, considering WoW has a monthly subscription and it's wasn't the most practical thing to pay in my country back in the day because we were lagging behind the rest of the western world by half a decade at least, and most of my countrymen were poor as fuck and had an even shitty living standard than nowadays.

I'd like to see a fantasy setting that actually depicts orcs and goblins as what they really are: low-caste vampire elves. The term orc was, at one point, a reference to the undead. Tolkien intended them to be like that as well, as they hated sunlight in his works.

I only know one guy who used to play WoW a lot, he bitched about every single update past Burning Crusade(?not sure if I got the name right, I think the first or second big expansion?) and only played on private/pirate servers after the additional expansions came out.

I personally only played Warcraft 3 and the expansion - Frozen Throne, I think. I think that was a pretty good game, but it's at least 10, if not more years since I last had it installed. I remember hearing they would get together with Activision and feeling sorry for their fans, because Acti was already sliding down the kike slope at that point.

To be fair, Alliance at the haydays were mostly played by neckbeards, proto-fedoras, and sociopaths (most dramas are from Alliance side, three guesses why). So people mostly moved to the Horde (also partly because NE faggotry, before BC which introduces BE faggotry to the Horde), they were mostly the 'college dudebros' though.

Another Slav here. Blizzdrones were a thing when old Warcraft, Diablo, and Starcraft games were still coming out, and their numbers peaked around Diablo 2 and WC3's heydays. Even then, there was a significant number of people considering blizzdrones idiots for liking dumbed down ripoffs of Warhammer and 40K, ladden with shitty cutscenes.

As soon as Blizzard shifted focus to WoW, Blizzdrones began to fade rapidly. Most were not interested in an MMO, felt betrayed that Blizz gave up on strategy games, or were kept out by then prohibitively expensive monthly fee. Out of ones who were able to pay, most considered the game not worth the money. Some were also unhappy that they were forced to play on kraut servers because they lagged less than Scandinavian and French ones back then.

Activision deal and then SC2 decimated blizzdrones' already low numbers and depleted nearly all goodwill old timers had towards Blizzard.

Now 'Blizzdrones' are mainly children who play Heartstone or Overwatch. These two are past their prime by now, and even at their peak they were not as big as CS or DoTA. The small WoW populace is made of spoiled teens with parents affluent enough to fund subscription and pay to win purchases.

The entire conflict was started because Jaina's retarded dad decided to attack the Horde despite the peace and prosperity being enjoyed by all. It sure is a good idea to fracture everyone into warring factions, worked out really well. You want to talk dumb niggers? Back in the day in my hometown Blizzard games were really popular. Everyone was playing D2, WC3 and especially dota. Even the biggest villager who could barely read played old dota. We even had a small modding scene, making our own mods, one of them was version of dota based on local characters. It had a lot of connection with internet cafes and subculture it spawned. WoW was also popular until Wrath. But after that it died out almost overnight. People have moved onto other games, older guys gravitated more towards Dota 2 and kids to LoL.
