Well, it looks like going to have to make a hard decision but I've been pushed too far that I can't take it anymore. The last game that I'll buy on release will be DMC5 and any game that is released after, I won't buy on release day until they significantly drop in price. This decision is not because of this situation (even if the situation is silly and seems to advocate for bullying compliance) but multiple reasons like so buggy, mediocre and half-baked released games and censorship that I don't think I can reward the gaming industry anymore.

Being one of the few people that drops about $500 on games a month, I think until the video game industry gets their shit together and serves the people that pay for their games, I'm going to invest back to buying retro games and finishing up my backlog where games were good and had more love put into it. If I decide to pay for modern games, I'll wait 6 months to a year and I'll only buy it from a second hand store just to make sure they don't get my money directly. I can wait 5 years of going through my backlog until the video game industry makes significant changes to punish their bad practices. This might not put much of a dent in their profits but If they aren't going to change their business practices, then I'll just change my buying practices.
