I'm sure the Saturn features can be modded in. It's still the Kex engine. Also, supposedly Nightdive is remastering Powerslave, but no one knows which version.

saturn version is still the best, ex has basic things broken such as the player size in the world making it impossible to dodge fireballs in corridors.

I really should give it a go with the thing, playing without proper strafing was a real pain in the ass although it still was playable and it was the only thing I really hated about DOS version, because otherwise it's a very good game. Wish we had more actual Ancient Egypt focused games back then.

He's talking about System Shock. Before it was a emulated for Windows, now it's legit source code based version without hacks or workarounds. Powerslave on the other hand was reverse engineered by Kaiser, the result is Powerslave Ex which is based on PSOne version but that's about it, pretty sure he planned to make Saturn version too before C&D happened.

I read somewhere that Night Dive wanted to sell both Playstation and Saturn versions.
