if you like the classic TJ&E games you'll enjoy it, if you're under the age of 25 you probably won't. it's not a great game, but it's not a disgrace to the name either.

Flash animation really kills the visual appeal when it compares to the original games. Other than that, it plays like what you'd expect of a Toejam and Earl game. Was there anything new added to the game like gameplay innovations because I didn't feel anything much has changed outside visuals and maybe some different enemies.
Not as funky and felt like a downgraded remake so the best I could give it is indifference. It's a kickstarter game so it's not as bad as it could be but could definitely be a lot better. Modern gamers will complain that it's a walking simulator when they've played worse walking simulators than this game.

The choice to whether to buy this game or not is up to you. According to my opinion its a 7.8 that got to that score thanks to some questionable decisions by Human Nature Stutdios and a few mistakes in the graphics. Like for example some character's legs that are separated from their bodies by fat lines or those fugly looking power hats. Some effort in that department could have make it look much better than a Flash cartoon that some sperg would have uploaded to Newgrounds in 2006. What a damn shame. Gameplay in itself is very good.
