AI generated art have notable artifacting issues. In order for the AI to outperform humans on this task, we'd need a dataset which doesn't exist right now - one where the art is "layered" in some real sense.
The 3D art looks "OK" because of two things: first, the resolution is low in their demonstration - it's nowhere near uncanny valley yet. Second, a large number of things are built into their model that should not be there - their model is overly restrictive regarding natural poses.
Over the next few decades, we'll see "AI aided" art, where the AI does the first few steps of producing art and a human fixes all of the problems with it. It won't fully replace a skilled artist, at least any time soon. We might see something change regarding that towards the end of our lives.

I can see an AI make "checklist art" or provide solutions for simple problems.
But proper art is more than just pretty pictures.
RNG and pattern generation are no substitute for someone who knows their craft, has feelings and something that drives them and can apply themes from the real world into whatever they are making.
Being human is an immense advantage here.
You can take patterns pretty far and make the AI learn rules so it doesn't combine nonsensical things, but it's just not a substitute for the real thing.

This is a manga for older children. It is not an original story (although an anime adaptation works), it has a lot of elements based on classic works like The Wind Beneath You, A Fairytale for children and Anima Kakeru: The Princess of the Moon. It also has many other characters such as a couple of cute girls, a cute dog and cute kids. I would not recommend watching this if you have to learn about the story before buying this.

The story begins in the summer of 2000. The story is based on "The Dragon's Tail", Aoi no Kakeru story: a tale about the fate of two high-school students who fall in love.
The story progresses slowly until they meet an unexpected one, a young couple named Sakura and Kyoko Kaito. Sakura, the daughter of a local businessman, is a shy, shy girl who has a very difficult past which has resulted in her becoming a student of the prestigious University of Kyoto. She works at the University of Taro before becoming a student, but when her classmate Kaito arrives, she learns her true age as a high school girl. Sakura's classmate Kaito and Sakura have a close relationship with but can't talk, and as the next day she has to change. Sakura meets an older man, Gensetsu, who teaches her at the University of Taro, and the two begin dating. She also discovers what makes up Sakura's early life as a girl: her shyness and her fear of heights, and her desire to live up to her parents' expectations.
The next day she is attacked by a very young man in a shop. Gensetsu tells the boy she will take him somewhere she can sleep. Sakura is surprised when he goes to confront her and has a terrible surprise to the young man. Sakura can't find out what really happened, so she decides to leave the room and meet up with her mother again. When G

What she does know is that… the other guy is just like her and he's a guy with beautiful and pretty boobs. She is the most attractive girl for her time, but he has more important things to worry about. But what is so important to Mio? When a girl is trying to get married, even the biggest guy won't even let her marry him and her crush will think that she's a loser. However, her crush is in love with this young person who she meets in life. Mio decides to let her get married, and as she's getting her life started, the other girl is suddenly thrown into a marriage where she meets the same guy as she did during the first episode. But no matter what happens with that new guy, he can't help but be jealous of Mio and her crush. Mio also discovers more as she watches on as other guys are also jealous at Mio's beauty and she also wonders who it really is. She doesn't like him that much… only that in her mind he doesn't want to stay in this relationship. So after she finally manages to get his attention and find out, she gets mad and decides to have sex with him… so the whole thing works out with him finally getting even more involved in his life. The story is quite typical to anime, and Mio is the best actress that's ever appeared on the television show. The only problem is that she has such very low acting)
