I have a really good story from my ongoing game. I didn't really take good screenshots because whenever I realized what happened it was already too late.
>create a rogue character named Bruce Wayne, elections every 2 rounds, 2 years per round, max difficulty
>I thought I'd get to be batman
>he didn't see much prosperity in his lifetime, so when I could dabble in politics I used his 2 youngest children instead
>one of his sons, Dr. Reginald Wayne, moved to the imperial capital
>there, he became a wealthy scholar, and used his skills to rise through political ranks
>after a lifetime of politics, he became Sovereign
>he came from the shithole town in the map and had success in the imperial capital, so I started considering him the main character
>he couldn't rise higher, because he was in a political deadlock
>2 families in love with each other ruled the top 2 tiers of offices, and the king had perfect relations with everyone below
>Reginald was nearing 60, so I had him marry, and breed the wife
>he was old but I didn't worry much, Reginald had a healthy diet of nothing but meat pie his whole life and maxed constitution, so he was bound to live long
>while he kept his position of sovereign, his children slowly grew up one by one and became involved in politics
>just as I'm about to close the circus on the king by having my family put someone else in charge, I start deliberately lowering my relation with him
>I want literally anybody else to get elected, because my thug shadowing the king says he has beyond maxed out empathy and rhetoric, and is wealthy enough to run around wearing artifacts
>after the king starts hating me, he strips me of one property, and starts sabotaging me every time he can
>he would press fake charges on me, but luckily the cuck in charge of it set the severity of the law to humane, and I mostly went to pillory or got fined
>he gave Reginald the black death once, but his hospital is always perfectly equipped, and as the owner he can always order someone in the hospital to treat him as soon as possible
>I even had a 5 year old die in the woods, I don't know if the AI can do this because I didn't witness it, but I think the king ordered him dead
>when I finally get my family members locking the king out of political support, he challenges Reginald to a duel
>the king is a craftsman, with poor fighting skills. Reginald also has bad fighting skills except for his high constitution
>realize I can pull it off
>buy every single consumable I can, consume everything to earn exp
>manage to nearly max out fighting skills
>first pic is Reginald just before the duel, while he applied artifacts
>the duel is a crushing victory, 3 rounds of aimed shots kill the king, he only landed a single shot on Reginald
>I never knew the game has this detail, but apparently if you beat the king on a duel you become the new king (2nd pic)
>give a fiery speech to my people
>make dominating the capital my new objective, every post must be held by a Wayne
>after a single election start getting attacked and sabotaged
>oh shit
>it's the king's brother, a 98 year old
>he's out for revenge, and unlike the king, he's a powerful rogue, who still has elevated rhetoric skills
>he starts playing the same tricks the king used to play and he manages to make my own family elect him instead of a relative to a lower position
>I have to kill this guy
>but he always moves around with thugs and wears good armor, while being an expert fighter himself
>after some political maneuvering and sabotage, he meets an untimely ending at the hands of time
>his information page says there's only a single other person in his family, the Dankbar dynasty
>it's a 14 year old kid
>after all that happened, it's my duty to wipe out that dynasty
>as soon as the kid grows up, he presses fake charges on one of my relatives then uses hypnosis on him to put him to sleep, which puts off my doing of the same thing by a round
>he made the dumb mistake of using the artifact too soon, so my relative wakes up besides the court and in tame to make it in
>he also sabotages some of my businesses
>he is just a 16 year old, a cunt (rightfully so), and he has no skills, so he was laughed out of court
>the next round he doesn't attend the trial and is banished from the town for 8 years, but he escapes alive
>as soon as he comes back I sue him again and have him executed, his dynasty dying with him
>and that's how the Waynes achieved a stable rule over the region of Novaesium
