Why are Kirby fans so annoying? It's amazing how a series consisting entirely of average games can have such annoying fans. No one cares about your annoying music, your grimdark edgy shit you try pushing or the utterly lame game play. Speaking of the music is it possible that a game could have a more annoying soundtrack? I think not. The saccharine melodies and break neck beats exist in opposition to one another and produce only the most unappealing results. It's no wonder it's a Nintendo franchise, it's the only way it could have fans through thick and thin all while being the most annoying cocksuckers around.

Crystal shards. While it was my first kirby game, it also set the bar for pacing, leading me to enjoy it's large vistas and more deliberately slow pace. Most games favor and encourage a fast pace and I miss the slower pace of Crystal shards. Also, I'll forever be sad at the lack of proper ability combinations. Adding water or thunder to a sword is not the same as a double ended lightsaber, a giant bastard sword in flames, or explosive ninja stars.

Galacta Knight. I'm still sour he's not playable in Star Allies and Morpho knight is super shitty in comparison, boasting the easiest boss moveset in the game. even easier than Whispy woods.

Amazing mirror, easily. So much fun exploration and actually multiple kirby multiplayer. We need another non-linear kirby game besides cave offensive. This is so criminally underrated.

Super Star (Ultra) is great, but I always with Nintendo would stop wasting time and make another game like Crystal Shards. Experimenting with power combinations has always been the most fun I've had with the series, and I love all the little curves and sections where the 2D level weaves through the 3D environment.
Kirby 3 gets an honourable mention for a similar reason, and because I like the animal buddies.

I always thought the dashing attack on mirror was cool, since it looked like one of my Japanese animes and rewarded me for knowing Kirby's jump arc. Suplex is probably more overall fun, though, since it radically changes the gameplay.

Adeleine is very cute, although I guess I can't call her my favourite since I forgot her name. Meta Knight has consistently held up to my standards for cool character designs, though.

Star Allies is very solid, but be aware that it is designed for chaotic multiplayer action with nes/gb style levels. The fan service is utterly phenomenal, and Ribbon & Ado being obscenely overpowered is just icing on the cake.

I just tried extra epic yarn's demo and it plays nothing like the other 3DS kirby games, it's like a mix of that yoshi game with the same graphics and chibi robo; you can't swallow and spit up enemies you couldn't in the first few games either, i know or drop down platforms, and kirby doesn't run or fly, he turns into a car and a parachute, at least it's an excellent port/enhanced port of the Wii original, i tried it on my O3DS and it runs great.
The graphics are interesting, but i hope the usual demonic fuckery rears its head later on because right now it's too cute for me to handle.

There is much promise here, but also many ways for it to go wrong. Overall I think it could be done well, but obviously nu-tendo would need to remain as far away from it as possible.

An RPG with Kirby enemies might be a fun April Fool's joke, but I can't say I want it to exist. You'd need to pull a Super Mario RPG and introduce so many new characters that it wouldn't feel like a Kirby game anymore.

3D Kirby platformer would be more of a brawler since you would need to clear hoards of enemies to get to the next area. That said an open Kirby like Mario 64 where you can explore the world as an interconnected world with very little to tell you where to go next would be fun. Like what Amazing Mirror did.
Strangely enough there was an old HAL RPG called Arcana which was a first person RPG where the enemies were cards but it wasn't a card game. When I think of a Kirby RPG I think of a cross-over between Arcana's world that transforms Kirby's world into cards. Kirby would be the card master's first card. Card master would be the daughter of the hero from the first Arcana game. There's other card masters too as allies and villains with their own cards like King Dedede, Meta Knight, Marx, Susie, Magus Sisters, Dark Matter/0, etc.
