So recently I've been shown couple of hours of Death Stranding.
Obviously I won't tell you how I got to see it and stuff.. Anyways, I didn't really know about it because I don't play games anymore, but person told me that people are really excited about it, so I went Online to see what is out there about game and turns out not that much except couple of trailers that seem to be puzzling to people even tho, in my opinion, tell pretty much what the game is about.
So I will try to explain as best as I can what I think I understood watching it…
So basically something big happened that kind of mixed life and death worlds or something like that, I'm not sure… but basically you have this two worlds our world and the other world. In our world most of people seems to be gone, and you play as a character who's goal is to return things and people from other world, but in order to do that you first need to travel to the location in our world where something in past happened, when you get to the location you go into the other dimension and try to return it, if you fail that location turns into giant hole and you can no longer get it back. There is one trailer that I saw where man on the radio speaks to you, he's actually speaking to you from the 'real' world and you are in that death dimension or whatever is called, and you're on mission to find some person or something like that.
So 'our' world will basically be this post that big thing that happened and will be almost completely empty as far as I saw, and will serve to travel to the locations where something in the past happened so that you can go into other world and return it. I don't think that there will be monsters to fight in our world, but it will be kinda like survival thing

so you walk around, find points of controller vibration, and go 'through the mirror'.. could be interesting depending on execution, if you could for example explore the area before going to 'the dark side', or maybe manipulate the 'dark side' before going in, that would be interesting, I'd like the idea of the mosters being too strong to fight, so that you could only maybe distract them little with weapons or traps, few puzzles too, I like dem puzles, I'm mostly worried about the walking around part, not a big fan of huge, empty maps, smaller more limited area, like some small 'cursed island' would sound better to me, also no lengthy cutscenes please
