Since the anniversary is coming up, I'll do a quick summary of what happened last year and what we can expect in the coming weeks.
There was a GW on the exact same date as this year but with light enemies instead of this years dark enemies. Besides being Valentine themed, there was something else unusual. The bosses didn't drop summons but a light SSR sword instead. It's safe to assume that we'll get the Valentines wand this year.
The Flashfest around this time included the first Valentines characters so we can assume that they'll return with some newcomers. You can also give your characters chocolates during Valentines if you're Djeeta and receive gifts if you're Gran. The reverse happens during White Day a month later. A Valentine mini-event started on the 11th and ran to the 21st. It showcased the new Valentines characters and you could give ingredients to Lyria, Kat, Io and JK and get unique chocolates (and a cutscene) in return.
We had a rerun of the first part of WMTSB last year. During this rerun you could get a second free Baha weapon. After it got added to the sidestories, the baha trade-in did not get reset. So a second demi-primal or sunstone is likely to be added with part 2.
You may notice that WMTSB3 last for three fucking weeks. This also happened last year. It overlapped with RotB from the 12th to the 18th and Xeno Corrow from the 18th to the 24th.
Legfest started on the 28th and ran until the 4th. Nothing of note was introduced except more disappointment from wind players.
Now onto the anniversary stuff. On the first of March, a mini Magnafest was introduced leading up to the Anniversary. It included the increased pendant cap, half host mats, journey drop bonus, 200 log-in crystals and a free daily single draw besides the standard Magnafest things like EXP/RP bonus, etc.
The livestream with all the new info was held on the 4th of March. This date may change. All the info gets compiled and explained further over the following days. March 10th is the start of the Anniversary.
Last years fest had double EXP/RP, Half off Co-op, etc. everything you would expect from this special occasion. It also had the gacha-roulette. They try to one-up themselves each year so expect something more. The magnafest concluded on the 24th. A beginner fest started around this time until April 9th.
There's also the anniversary ticket which you could buy from the 10th to the 16th. It included all the characters that were not fest exclusive. That means that you can buy any Swimsuit, Christmas, Halloween, etc. character but not Katalina, DAO and the like. An important note however, a Flashfest was held from the 16th to the 19th that included the newly introduced S.Jeanne plus S.Bea, S.Izmir, S.Heles and some swimsuit SRs. I would encourage everyone to wait until the Flashfest announcement this year to use their ticket. There are also murmurings that Grimnir might be released during this period but those are baseless. It would also make more sense that he would release exactly one year from Brodia. Finally, there were also the Anniversary skins. They came out on the 10th and were purchasable for the entire month.

Not really. It's an interesting mainhand to use with Siete or other people who like to ougi a lot (as long as you have people to provide the DATA), but Chain Burst cap up isn't really game changing. Still, it is probably an upgrade compared to the Xeno Spear as an EX modifier to place in your grid if you'll hit the cap anyway due to the small % difference, but not really that remarkable otherwise.

Burst cap up is in all honestly terrible, mostly because the dmg cap on burst is itself terrible seeing you need to delay ougis(i.e. cutting ougi centric parties overall dmg) to get it high or even at all for long fights and for 1t it still deals less dmg than a single character…
Just think of it this way, if it was excelsior it would be 15% ougi cap per char for 4 chars making it overall about 60% up to a single char(assuming all have same base), this wep gives 30% to burst, which is equal to a char without a seraph at max dmg so it actually is about the equivalent of 25% to a single char when on element.

The thing about the Demi summons is that I got Demi titan last year but I've yet to spend a single sunlight stone in it, since I got other summons I'd rather spend my stones in (i.e. Bonito, Lucifer, Arcarum).
So unless you have currently 0 summons you have to MLB, the sunlight stone is probably a better investment.
More so considering Demi Varuna isn't outclassed only by Varuna herself, but also by Europa, Bonito and Gabriel (since you can use them as a main summon and get a support Varuna).

I'd say Apsaras in wind with the Xeno spear is a solid Debuffer/Buffer that can safely TA and helps everyone cap with Dance of Zeal and Einherjar, hit def down cap with MM and Randgrith, get Jammed and Strenght with Springwater Robe and Crestfallen flower. Overall it is a very versatile class, but it really is overshadowed by Elysian and its massive MA buffs and Sage and his heals and veil and whatnot.

I think wind Apsaras has potential but it's lacking something. I was thinking about making the CCW for wind so I can bring MM, Randgrith and Crestfallen flower for the double buff and also benefit from the 20% charge bar from the first skill. I would use the hollowsky axe with a party of Nio, Scat and Anchira.
I don't think the grind would be worth it however. I'm already farming for a bunch of other CCWs and adding more on the pile seems like a lot of work for little reward.

Maybe I've gotten numb to it after working on the 10 eternals and the Arcarum summons in preparation for the Birthday stream, but I don't think the CCW grind is that bad.
I mean, mostly it's just random stuff from coop, showdowns and centrums. Creeds can be bought with low level pendants and Silver centrums and BSC are a bit of a pain but aren't that bad, more so if you host Grand Order.
The weapon stones are a pain after the first one but spears stones are pretty plentiful and its not like you're going to use them anywhere else.
Then again, if you're making all EX2 weapons and a few more it might get old fast.
The weirdest thing is that what actually is pretty bad nowadays is getting the Bahamut HL horn. Those are failing a lot due to a combination of beginners wanting to be carried, magnafest, leechers also wanting to be carried, Akasha being the hot thing everyone wants to farm instead and nobody wanting to play Sage or Spartan.

Oh, I agree that the CCW grind is not nearly as bad as the 5* eternal grind or similar but because of the way I'm going about it, I'd rather not farm another for a bit. I'm way behind on CCWs. I've only 5*'d one so far. Because I'm interested in making a bunch of CCWs, I decided to farm from the top down. Meaning, I farm Astaroth animas for every emblem I want then I do the showdown items, etc. I want to save time in the long run so I have to do it in this boring fashion.
I farmed a Kaneshige the normal way before this and I already got 12 more samurai distinctions which means I wasted about an hour of my time farming. It might not seem like much but if this happens for every CCW, I'll waste so much time that I could've farmed another CCW.
This whole thing isn't helped by the fact that Astaroth is an annoying boss to fight.

Shrimp weapon is crap anytime outside of Jap time and even worse it's only on Friday while Centrum you can get from Grand Order. It's really no question it's Crystals unless you're like me and want one copy just to add it to the skin collection.

Funnily enough, just when I talked about RoBs influence on GBF, Zwei appears in the 4koma. She is the main inspiration for Orchids design but they have very different personalities. This is also of course the reason that they appear together.

I meant the reverse, Orchis is Zweis design inspiration in RoB. They're "sisters" made by different scientists. Zwei is made by a jealous scientist who saw Orchis and wanted to make his own automaton. He fails, somewhat. Zwei is basically an imperfect clone of Orchis. Zwei starts as a senseless killing-machine, but after being defeated by Orchis, comes to the realization that there's more to life.
