>no colours it's just black and white with dithering to simulate darker and lighter shit
>you're this sorta swordman stickman dude
>you fight a bunch of identical looking swordmen as you go
>at the end there was a boss coming out from under an arch
>I don't think you could jump but I'm not sure
>attack was spacebar, I remember the CLACKETY CLACK sound that old fucking keyboard would make when my dad would beat the boss for me

Escape from Tarkov.
Contrary to /v/'s belief, the game isn't horrible. The devs have started adding on-the-spot fixes a few minutes after someone mentions an issue, unironically. Someone complains that you can't equip 2 certain items at the same time, 10 minutes later it is fixed.
The game's biggest issues are the abysmal optimization and netcode. Content-wise they are doing pretty good and they're finally moving to Unity 2018 this year, hopefully fixing the shitty optimization.

Retard streamer takes false information from a redditor who shilled for his shitty malware-infested site, then blows everything out of proportion claiming "yall got hacked" and then the slavdevs fuck up and shut him down.
This then creates even more faggot drama until the devs decide it isn't worth it and just let the streamer do his thing. They don't monetize peoples' Tarkov videos.
>>16049373
Also this, unfortunately. The good goys get a unique in-game ID to show off, they get a bigger secure container (4x4) compared to the default 2x2, plus some extra guns, more money and their traders already have 0.20 reputation rather than 0. Oh and they get a bigger stash inventory, but in the next update this won't matter anymore due to the implementation of the 'Hideout', a in-game base that the player can upgrade and increase his inventory size.

Honestly, I'd get it if it were on sale, there was a reliable player-base and I could find someone to play with on a regular basis.

I never got this, beating stuff for your kids/siblings. All it does is teach your kids to be weak, uncompetitive and quit when they don't get instant gratification.
I know because I have friends that are like this, completely spoiled because their parents went easy on them and now they can't stick with anything that doesn't give them instant gratification.
They refuse to improve, refuse to endure adversity and just give up at every turn and then blame everything around them(including and especially close friends who are trying to teach them so they'll be better).
Going easy on your kids is the worst thing you could do, it's actually better to be a little too hard on them and have them resent you than become spoiled little shits that can't deal with the barest adversity.

There was this racing game I played a long time ago, between 2002 and 2005. It was a 3d game in which you raced those things in picture. I remember there being a jungle, a canyon floor and a mountain road track, the last one was point-to-point instead of having laps, you got 3 shots of nitrous for each race, so you had to be strategic on using them. There was a career mode in which you joined a team. The game was on a CD in an issue of a Polish magazine "Komputer Świat Gry" released somewhere in the period of time I mentioned earlier. I tried looking for the archives of this magazine, but they were not working properly. Googling anything also got me nowhere, thanks to pages upon pages of nothing but mobiletrash or browser games.
