In WACO, depending on who you believe, there was a small subset who were converting legally-bought firearms into full-auto capable weapons. Could have just served a warrant and searched the premises, though, and instead they went in guns blazing and murdered women and children.
Ruby Ridge was a guy who did literally nothing wrong. Feds were working in his circles for years, and attempted to entrap him by soliciting two sawed-off shotguns, which he denies he even sawed off. I'm still mad they turned rayman 4, an open world, darker toned platformer sequel, and turned it into a minigame galore at the last minute. The only remnant of what could be is a broken GBA game, and I think they made a DS platformer, too, off of the rayman 2 engine. Same with conviction, they axed hobo fisher and turned the game into a generic third person action game nobody bought. Either way, that was when ubisoft truly went to shit, everything we see today could be seen a mile away
