Last thread was deleted by some cuck, and after reading the rules and seeing I broke none of them here's another. Go fuck yourself "ultramarine".
I want a game where I can put a lot of thought and effort into building my character(s). Something with a lot of viable archetypes. Preferably with decent gameplay as well. Offline would be preferable, I'm tired of PoE's shit.
Here's some games I've already played
>Path of Exile
I've played this extensively and I'm tired of the lack of major choices. Basically you pick your class, ascension, and skill. Based on those three choices you basically just fill out the ideal stat nodes and that's your build.
>Grim Dawn
I've never really gotten into this mainly because none of the skills I have tried 'feel' good but also because the choices feel even less than PoE. You choose a skill or combination of skills, get it, and get stat boost revolving around it. I simplified PoE a bit but PoE had a lot more opportunities for synergy to arise.
>NWN/D&D games in general
D&D progression is fine and all, but it certainly isn't the focus of the game and a lot of builds can be made shit by the content of the game/module you're playing.
>Battle Brothers
Progression is pretty simple, but the combination of permadeath and random stat talents on recruits make progression pretty fun for a few hours.
