I got bored and took a bunch of screenshots while I was fucking around with the console commands, I forgot how cool BA2's first two levels look but since BA2 doesn't let the player return to previous levels (like BA1 does) most people ignore it because the game doesn't really start until level 3. This is especially true for the giant monorail roundhouse, which is a huge (20+ floor) setpiece that most people blow through in under 30 seconds. I also noticed that the monorail roundhouse has both a nicely detailed crane and a ground turntable for some reason, which doesn't make sense if you think about it.

I like how the underwater area is basically just a noire alleyway, but underwater. You can see the SWAT 4 influence here because SWAT 4's first level has a somewhat similar scene.

The flying security robots are not constrained by physics and teleport when out of sight, as a result they glitch easily. Also "sea gate 12" aka a submarine train airlock.

This is all I have left, even when using the ghost/fly commands the player will still be affected by physics objects which screws everything up and teleports them to a void, from which you have to kill the game in task manager and restart it. Also the fake stars/wall affect in the Journey To The Surface level was also used in the cult basement in SWAT 4 although it used a different texture.

I got bored and took more screenshots. I forgot how great the skyboxes look in person, when it's wrapped around the scene it's far more immersive than just looking at a straight image/render of the texture.

Weirdly, half of the exterior windows in the museum look out inside big rooms instead of skybox. This is probably done because the skybox lighting isn't dynamic, it's impossible to make it darker/change states as the player's elevation/Z-coordinates get lower. This goes to show Bioshock's age because even HL2 (which released two years before Bioshock) was capable of this even though it's rarely used (iirc I think it's only used during the teleport sequences).
