Early on the beta, about two weeks before launch, the server was fucking smooth. Barely any crashes at all; could run dungeons no problem. About 1.5-2 weeks before launch, they did some shit to it, donno what, and ever since then it's been crashing like this.
Giving it another week then I'll probably just stop playing if it's not completely fixed.
It's sad because the scripting is very good, but oh well.

Releasing the code to the public, we’d be releasing all of the longs hours, over 30933 commits of over 20 people with the risk of someone taking it in the wrong direction, however, this is still up for a debate whereas the same amount of people who would aim to benefit financially could meet the same amount of people whose aim would be to provide a great experience. Overall, the code would be released if all of the authors agree to it, but for now, I wouldn't count on it.

Warlocks were really insane DPS in dungeons but shadow priests were always welcome due to Vampiric Touch and other buffs they bring to the table.

Druids are VERY good at leveling. They can fight in bear/cat form while their mana regens and just heal themselves any time they need. Roots also make for good CC too, for sketchy pulls.

I'll help you decide not to play: while you're leveling to max level, quest rewards are pretty much worthelss and all your gear is obtained from dungeons and it's all scaled, every zone is scaled, every dungeon is scaled (you can have people in your party with 20 levels of difference and the scaling just makes everything the same for everyone), Elite mobs just mean you can't solo a pack of them with certain classes, there is no world pvp and if you do manage to world pvp you will get banned if you do it too much, nobody speaks to you, you will never find anybody that is in the same realm as you because of inter realm phasing, most of the content is pointless because you just level up so fast, professions are pointless because they are divided into Classic recipes, Outland Recipes, Northrend Recipes, etc. all with different experience groups and you level up so fast it becomes pointless to do any of it and anything you get from them is outclassed by some dungeon item, there is no first aid, DPS is brainless, healing is brainless, tanking is brainless, as in it really feels like you could be watching some animu while raiding.
The only positive things I can say about it is rogues have a grappling hook that lets them leap a nice distance or climb walls/hills (such as climbing a city's walls to break into it), and warriors can dual wield two handed weapons.

If you begin eating and get put in combat, you'll still get health from eating. Voidwalkers can keep channeling Consume Shadows even if the Warlock gets in combat. Problem with a lot of post vanilla servers is you have to code not only vanilla content, but the expansion's content and if post TBC, all the stuff between what the server is supposed to be and base game.
Outside the crashes and various bugs, it seems like they bothered to script shit like flavor text, scripted events and other shit that usually goes unnoticed on every other private server. The big issue here is they seem to not know how to debug or run a server, on the upside the chinese are banned.
Really they need to set up a second server either on their old hardware or on their own machine and try and generate crash logs

Excalibur was a fun-server with gold being nearly infinite and the ability to purchase gear through daily logins. Warmane was a PvP cash shop server with the PvE content feeling like the devs put a -50% dmg modifier to mobs inside dungeons and raids. Ares had the right idea with instant 58 and pure focus on Outland shit, with vanilla being planned to be copy-pasted from the Kronos core later on. Shame the guy in charge went AWOL.
