I've seen a lot of people sucking this game's proverbial dick because of it's gameplay, but only vague mentions of its story crop up. I'd assume that's because the real story stuff only kicks in far later in the game after the harder levels start acting as a casual filter. In fact, this seems exactly like so many other indie puzzle platformer type games where everyone gushes about the first few levels, which is all they played, but never see the game through to completion.

If you're going to make your game a sidescroller with sprites that small relative to the window, you cannot use such lowres looking artstyle. A few steps further and your character would literally be nothing but a fucking square. It's among the laziest, worst pixel art I've seen in a game. There are worse, but not many.
In later levels, when you have lots of shit going on ingame, and there's lots of motion on screen, it just looks like a jumbled mess of pixels being stirred around in a chunky stew. It's horrible.

In videogame making. Sure. But anons have propably spent time focusing on honing their talents in other things.
